Q4TS is a QGIS plugin designed by EDF R&D to prepare meshes and boundary-condition inputs for OpenTELEMAC using SALOME-based algorithms. It brings mesh-generation and preprocessing directly inside QGIS, so you can start from real geographic data—coastlines, bathymetry, rivers, DEMs—and turn them into simulation-ready unstructured meshes.

With Q4TS, you can define domain contours, refine specific zones, extend existing meshes, interpolate bathymetry or any scalar field onto mesh nodes, and automatically generate the boundary files required by TELEMAC. The plugin essentially acts as a bridge between GIS data and the solver, giving you a visual, reproducible, and GIS-centric workflow for building model inputs.
