NESTOR coupled with the morphodynamic module GAIA or with TELEMAC2D offers the possibility of using documented data from dredging operations to model the resulting changes in the bottom level. Thus the period of time, the volume of sediment removed during that period of time and the size and location of the dredging site can be defined. This data can subsequently be used to determine the resulting bottom level for that site.
