TELEMAC-3D is a three-dimensional (3D) model that solves the free-surface Navier-Stokes equations, with or without the hydrostatic pressure assumption. The model mesh is made up of a two-dimensional unstructured mesh, developed along the vertical as a series of model planes between the bed and the surface planes.
Similarly to TELEMAC-2D, TELEMAC-3D offers several turbulence models, is able to take account of various phenomena or forcings, and can simulate the advection-diffusion of active (driving density varying in space and time) or passive tracers.
